With the holidays behind us and a new year ahead, it was time to focus on our writing again. We all hit the refresh button, got away from the responsibilities of everyday life, and hung out in a place that invited warmth and creativity even on the coldest, darkest nights.
Chipman Hill Suites' 71 Sydney Street is an iconic Victorian Mansion built in 1891. Each beautiful room is equipped with a kitchenette (fridge, stovetop, microwave, kettle, dishes, etc.), so writers had the option of cooking for themselves. For those who wanted to skip the dishes, we were a quick walk from Picaroons brew pub, several cafés, Happinez wine bar, restaurants, and pubs of all kinds.
Arguably one of our coziest retreats.
